Now available for iOS and Android.
New Features:
Knight Bus: Coming soon, get ready to play Wizarding Challenges without leaving home! Just tap on the Knight Bus button on the Map to travel to the Fortress at Hogwarts Castle, choose your Chamber, and start battling Foes.
The Knight Bus is not live yet, but this is apparently the software needed for it.
There are two sets of rumours. 1) It may be a day or two until everyone receives the update, it will be a forced, server side update, and then slowly rolled out starting with lvl 40+ players. Or... 2) They'll wait until the event is over before going live. We shall see which is correct.
But! Either way, be sure to download your assets, because there are a lot of 'em.

Date: 2020-04-23 02:36 pm (UTC)I had serious issues with the tablet recently, so I know what you mean. Your heart and stomach just kind of sink until until it's all safely up and running again. Glad to hear it's back to working.
(I also tried a protective glass on the tablet a while back. It's cracked now, and obviously I can't say the display would have been otherwise if I *hadn't* had it, but it's left me with a decent feeling about it. It was a really pita to put on, but I'll definitely be doing it again.)

Date: 2020-04-23 02:43 pm (UTC)I don't like my new phone's look and feel as much as I did the previous one, so I was ok with buying a protective case for it, and I might add a protective glass later, but I need someone who can apply it for me. So just the case for now, and let's hope I don't break it again. I definitely don't have money for another one, it stretched my budget enough as it is.
