In light of the changes coming to Fortresses to make them accessible from home, I thought it would be helpful to have a list of the Fragments you can presently get there.
Wow! Thank you. This will most definitely be helpful. I canβt wait to see how this Knight Bus is going to work. I do miss storming the castle, er, fortress!
Yeah, I really need to work on a bunch of those. None of the Fortresses around here are places I like to stay for very long unless the weather is good. It will be nice to be able to do that from the warmth (and dryness) of my couch.
Right? My brother was supposed to but we ended up way too busy that last time and now with my con cancelled I'm never going to get to play with anyone unless he comes home some time this summer.
I haven't seen people in weeks, so, yeah, I hear you.
Too bad about the con, but sensible. π They've basically announced no large venue things here until next year. (The Ministry of Culture is not best pleased...)
Honestly I was surprised it was announced cancelled already. It means Chattanooga and the convention center, thus also the Marriott, is being super sensible, but the con isn't until late June, so I was surprised anything in my state would cancel that far ahead. Especially given there's of presidential support in my state (though I'm pleased to note several previous Trump supporters are no longer Trump supporters, so I'll take progress where it comes(.
At this point, I'd really like to smack the stupid out of some people. (I mean, the protests in Michigan with cars blocking access to the hospitals? How stupid can you be?) Tonight we had the Cultural whatsit in the news demanding exceptions be made for the!arts, and you really have to wonder about these people, because a virus really isn't going to care that the event was culturally relevant.
Today was my first time out, like to go somewhere in... ages (pupper had to go to the vet for her shots) and the vet and I were the only ones in masks. π (She *did* have everyone wait outside, though, and enter one by one, in via the back door, out via the front, and she disninfects everyone's hands when they enter. I really hope that works out for her longer term, but if you've got the dread lurgy and were handling your documents to take them with you... And cats can apparently act as carriers, too...) The shopping centre is a little better (haven't been inside, but I've biked past), but people really need to start upping their games, or this is going to take forever.
I admit I've been to the store several times, but largely because if I have to go in to work anyway (three times this week) I might as well do mine and the parents' shopping especially for fresh things. I wear a mask and disinfect. Trying the best I can. Definitely not going out for fun (but I do drive in to grab inns and gifts, but I'm in the car, so it doesn't really count).
We're allowed one exercise excursion per day (although we tend to stick to the treadmill/elliptical trainer), and then there's the dog walking... Hubs says if this keeps up, we can rent out the dog to people for walks... lol. We're not allowed to stay in one spot outside, like to sit on park benches, say, so everyone just keeps moving in step. (It reminds me of a gigantic invisible version of those wheel / ring things they'd hook horses up to, where they're fixed a certain distance from one another and walk in circles to get their exercise.) He does the shops two or three times a week (I don't even do that). I guess this is now the sixth week of WFH and shelter in place, and the walls are closing in on him a little, enough that he's become less efficient about his shopping.
