Do we know if there's a rhyme or reason to getting Hermione vs the paper memos in fortress battles with this most recent event?

I got all of mine in Ruins IV and Ruins V, because I figure they have to give people just starting off a chance, I can do those chambers quickly and without potions, and it maximises my CXP per minute. And it did pretty well in satisfying the bonus reqs, 30 foes / 15 challenges, because: three red books! Motivated! 😃 The registry was filled before the task was, fwiw.

I had the reverse problem. I got two memos then seven Hermiones then I got mad and did Ruins I and got my last memo. I got all of mine at levels 2 or 3.

I haven't counted but I'm sure I've at at least 7 memos :/ possibly more. I hate rng.

Nope, they just popped up with no pattern that I could see. I was having the opposite problem of lots of memos and very few Hermiones.

I got my final Hermione, finally, with my last bloody runestone (though I'll probably earn. Few more as the portkeys open).
