We're getting another Wizarding Weekend this month, beginning Friday 30 October at 11 a.m. *PDT* and running through Monday 02 November 11 a.m. PDT. Please note, that's not local time! (What time is that where you are?)

What can we expect? Orange Wizard has made infographics to answer all our questions:

As the boosted Foundables and Portkey Fragment rewards are from several different Families, it won't be possible to prestige a page more than once, so you can relax and just pick and choose the ones you need most unless you're trying to complete the assignments. TFTD will boost the above seven spawns; good news: most of them count towards our assignments. Also, rewards for the returned Foundables may include Family Runestones, useful as we need to defeat 25 Foes in Fortress challenges for one of the assignments. Forest Chamber IV and above are "guaranteed to return Exploration Foundable Fragments".* (see below)

Here's what we'll need to do for our assignment:

We'll need a bunch of Runestones, fewer if you're fighting in higher chambers. It may be helpful if the Runestones are from the Legends of Hogwarts and Ministry Families. (* That's unclear as the guide says guaranteed Fragment from Forest Chamber IV and above, but doesn't explicitly limit that to when certain family Runestones are used. We'll have to wait and see on that front.) What is clear is that the Fragments boosted for the event via the special 1 km Portkeys will not be awarded as prizes for the Fortress battles, which means we can attempt to force the other ones to be awarded by using the the appropriate family Runestones.

STOP PLACING LEGENDS OF HOGWARTS FAMILY FOUNDABLES UNTIL THE EVENT. That will help you place seven of them, required for one of the tasks. A ray of hope: four of the seven boosted Foundables are LoH and placing them counts towards our assignments. And still more good news, a requirement for 25 foes battled should cut down on the dead weight in the fortresses some.

What do we get for our troubles? You can earn 2 DADA books, 2 red Spell Books, 3 Silver Keys, some potions and ingredients. Honestly this isn't so huge we should worry much if we sit it out.
