Apparently Daylight Savings Time is in effect in the states. Europe, not so much. And of course the Southern Hemisphere is a whole different issue. Bugger! So, the starting times of the event are 1) likely to *not* be what some of us expect and 2) it's not unlikely it will get mangled somewhere along the way for those of us not in (not out of?) DST yet as happened last autumn. Those who haven't set their clocks ahead yet. *nods* Keep your eyes peeled for resultant oddness.

ETA: ALRIGHTY! It is presently 14.27 CET, 13.27 GMT. THE EVENT IS STARTING IN 4 and 1/2 HOURS.

WXP in Fortresses

In Tasks 2 and 4 of the Circus Calamitous Brilliant Event starting today we're required to earn a certain amount of WXP in Fortresses. (And probably in the Bonus assignments, too.)

The thing to consider here is Time in Fortress (and potions) vs. WXP for this purpose, we need 500 WXP for Task 2, 1500 for Task 4.

Andolov on Discord and Reddit has been good enough to run the numbers and has worked out the two best scenarios for us. They boil down to two classes of players, those with more and less experience and the concomitant levels / professional skills and their associated buffs.

For relatively new players, assuming the ability to do up to Ruins Chamber IV, he suggests doing just that. It gives 145 WXP, without Baruffio’s, which means 4 Challenges are sufficient to finish task 2 and *12* for task 4.

For more experienced players, he suggests Tower Chamber IV, which gives 334 WXP, again without Baruffio’s, which means it would take 2 Challenges to finish task 2 and *6* for task 4.
