Reports are trickling in about some changes to the game that weren't announced.

Several people have opened their Brilliant Portkeys since the end of the event and discovered they now have different (and more appealing) contents. If you have any, it might be worth opening one to see if that is still the case before they nerf that, too.

Fazes has suggested hanging on to other Portkeys and not using them yet while they look into the rewards and try to decide if they should un-nerf them, so if you have the space, give it a thought. (It's okay to unlock them, just not open / use them.)

Gifts and meals / energy from inns are now random every time you visit them. They no longer remain static for the full hour like they used to. Upside, that's more cause to keep moving / no disadvantage to keeping moving. Downside, you can't find and stay somewhere lucky and stockpile anymore.

Baruffio’s Brain Elixir will once again last 1 hour, as opposed to the usual 30 minutes. And if you do nothing else, don’t forget to pick up your free store pack with 1 Silver Key and 25 Spell Energy.

Portkey Bug. Again.

If you've been having difficulty finding Portkeys...

If you presently have ten Portmanteau slots, you may have had difficulty finding new Portkeys. They're still ironing the kinks out, but Portkeys are only appearing when you have THREE or more free slots. Give that a try, and it should solve the problem, but remember not to pick up too many new Portkeys now because you'll need to get at least five Brilliant ones next week to complete your registry.

ETA: Alternately it may be a question of opening another free slot. The bottom line is no one seems to know precisely what caused it, but if you're stuck, free up another slot and have at least three free.
