They've announced the next Brilliant Event: Fighting Forces. Soon we'll be able to earn more Restricted Section Books (finally! đ) and unlock a new Portkey location with Octoberâs Brilliant Event.
Week 1: 08 October- 14 October
Week 2: 22 October- 28 October
Last week Wizards Unite had another software update (we're now on version 2.4.0). some things you may (or may not) have noticed in the new release:
* I think the best feature is the ability to tap past certain animation screens. Seriously speeds the game up. Try it. Experiment. It's not quite even in the distribution yet, but it works for a lot of things. (Greenhouses, say.) If you cast successfully against a Foundable, it will now let you skip ahead. [This is only possible once you have already returned 1 fragment of the Foundable, however.] (It takes a bit of the surprise out of thing as you can't skip when you're unsuccessful, but still...)
* Another excellent change is we are now able to revisit the Mystery Dialogues that so many of us hastily clicked past. Just tap on any Mysteries Foundable in the Registry, then tap "View". This will bring up the expanded view of the Fragment. Tapping "Next" will then bring up the story dialog between characters like Hermione Granger and Constance Pickering.
* Red dot nuisances rendered less so: you will no longer have to tap each Lens, Frame, and Sticker in your Ministry ID Portrait to dismiss the new item badge (aka the infamous red dot of irksomeness)
* Portkeys: If you open multiple Portkeys at once, you will now only get one dialog box to let you know you have unlocked one or more Portkeys. They all still count, naturally. Also, the Portkey Rewards screen will show even if youâre unable to tap 5 wrackspurts or you leave the Portkey unexpectedly.
* Ministry ID: Tap and hold Achievement badges in your Ministry ID to get a reminder of which Achievement you completed to receive the badge. [A bit oddly, this works *once* you've selected them, but only some of the time in the screen in which you actually do the selecting. Go figure. *shrugs* It also doesn't work on the badges on friend's IDs. (Just in case you were curious what the witch's hat on the purple background on my ID is for, say...)]
* Wizarding Challenges: They've added Spell Energy to rewards if you win a Wizarding Challenge at a Sponsored Fortresses. (And here I still haven't encountered one... đ)
* And the new addition you've all been waiting for... (Drum roll please...) They made Bogrod the Goblin available in Photo Mode... đ
And there were some bugs fixed and some that weren't. Here a few highlights:
Bug Fixes:
Fixed an issue where progress for the SOS Assignment: âComplete 3 Wizarding Challenges with 3 Teammatesâ wasnât consistently recorded.
Known issues:
* Foundables that are not from Encounters can sometimes have a high 'Seen' number, even if they are not Seen in Encounters
* Foundables in Photo Mode may flip around when a player taps on the Foundable to reposition
* Potions: Potion Brewing Queue slots may disappear after collecting a Potion and immediately attempting to brew another Potion. Exiting the Potions section fixes this issue.
