I just tried. It seems to work. 😊 So we have the solution for next time. I think they are so keen to encourage friending in advance of the 'gifting' they'll be introducing soon.

I have a question

I tried to grant access for the App to use my camera but when the settings open there’s nowhere to grant the access (using iPhone and have to admit all these glitches are frustrating me and making the game less enjoyable)

Hey! I'm on an iphone, too. Normally it asks within the app for permission to use your camera and you'd okay it there. Other than that, check in Settings -> Privacy -> Camera and Wizards Unite and it should be listed there; if it's borked (that's the technical term for it *nods*) then presumably it's turned off for some reason. (Possibly you clicked past the question to grant it permission, I've definitely done that before.) Just go in and manually turn it on and that should sort you. If WU isn't appearing there in the list, then you need to get it to ask you for permission again.

You can trigger the question by clicking on your profile icon (lower left button with your avatar while playing the game), then on your portrait, and then on 'camera', and it'll ask you for permission. Clicking 'allow' will take you to the Wizards Unite app menu with the settings for location, photos, camera, etc, and you need to turn camera on here. Then you may need to restart the app, but that should do it.

Thanks for the adds, gingerbredshaus and Scottish Witch. I'm up to a grand total of 22 friends now. Since hubby and I were out and about meeting and treating his sister for lunch, I was able to complete the first part of the new brilliant even, and a collected a couple on the second part as well. Yay! Go me!
